What that budget usually is not

Condos on his book are mostly well under $300,000 — Old Orchard Road at $140,000, Madison at $212,500, Lamon in the mid-$100s to mid-$200s. A townhome on Lunt closed at $420,000. So $500,000 is past most condos and into houses.

It is short of the larger homes: 5140 Weber Ln closed at $626,000, 5010 Jarlath Ave at $575,000, and 5120 Jarlath Ave at $1,000,000. If you need that size, the budget or the compromise has to move.
